I’m on the verge of buying a hard tail with biggish travel and keep looking at cotic souls I’ll have around 800 to spend but wondered what others choices would be?

You should get one because they are ace.

Only a bit similar. I have an on one 456 evo 2. It is probably a bit more of a blunt instrument than a soul, but I love it. It is considerably cheaper if that interests you, but as it is a bit heavier you need to put more in to get something out.

Souls are simply gorgeous in my opinion, but I couldn’t justify the extra outlay.
