Looking to buy a good quality leather belt for wearing with a suit, formal trousers etc.

Want something understated that will look good and last a lifetime.

Any recommendations?

There are thousands of leather belts out there, most very similar. I make my own, there are plenty of suppliers of all the materials, it’s not difficult to do.

I keep going to buy one then see the cost. How on earth can they cost the same as leather shoes?!

Just look in M&S / Gap etc, you’ll pick up a plain one for £20 or so.
