In my mission to achieve a creak-free singlespeed I am looking for recommendations for chainring bolts. I have tried alloy ones which shear off when tightened and stainless steel which, with PTFE tape, are the least creaky so far. Any other recommendations? Should I source some Titanium ones?

Try greasing/copper slipping your bolts instead?

Got some Shimano antiseize on the way to try so will see how I get on with that.

Alu ones have been shortlived IME. Steel ones with grease work fine.
Tried medium strength loctite once and had a hell of a time getting them undone!
