    Hi,
Anyone got a way of doing this?
it seems to involve levering the cam apart at the same time as putting the rebound knob back on the shaft, but its proving very tricky!
    anyone encountered the same problem?

I took the rebound out because there was oil leaking from around it and the pro pedal dial.
Is this normal or is it in need of a service?

I know my descriptions aren’t very good but if you know the problem then you should understand!
    Cheers

Think its service centre for that.
Dont think you can get them back together.

You need to disasemble the shock to do this which involves a regas and reoil, it needs to be done by a specialist.
Don’t try and lever the rods as you’ll probably damage them and cost yourself more money in parts.

    Off for a service!

I did exactly the same thing tinkering with the RP3 on a 2nd-hand 5-Spot I bought.

Once it’s out, it needs a complete rebuild to refit : (

The guy on the phone at TFT http://www.tftunedshox.com/ knew what I’d done before I’d even finished explaining!

An unexpected £80 spend, but worth it to get the shock serviced and tweaked for my weight!
