I’m after a new lap top battery for the wife’s lap top and there are several that match it, her’s currently has a 4400mAh battery.

My question, if it fits will a larger mAh battery be better or cause trouble?

better, if the manufacturing quality is up to it. The manufacturer is important. I got a higher capacity battery for my MacBook Pro a couple of years back. Half the price of the Apple battery. Worthless junk. It lasted barely any time at all and I quickly splashed out for a proper battery. You pays your money and you takes your chance.
