    They’re extremely rare, aren’t they?

You might want to ask yourself why…

My mate had one and liked it. He did not like the price he got when he changed though.

My mate had one. He thought it was shit.

Always looked like it should have been a convertible.

Apparently, the mpg on the diesel is amazing.

It’s a Renault which probably means it’ll drive well but fall to bits for a past time.

The MK2 Laguna had a really bad reputation for faults which meant the later ones didn’t sell very well, hence Renault dropped them from the UK. The MK3, which is what your coupe should be, is OK.

I’ve just sold my 09 Laguna estate. Bought it in 2011 and put 70,000 miles on it over four years, the only thing that ever needed fixing was a gummed up windscreen washer. The only reason I sold it was I bought a Caddy to cart the bikes around.

Everyone should have a go in one.

The top model has 4 wheel steering, and it is a revelation to drive on a twisty road. It’s a derivative of the system in the Nissan GT-R, and it shows.

They also have very well documented gearbox issues, so it’s not really a car you should definitely buy

The MK 3 Laguna’s are very good cars, particularly the 2.0 Dci version with the M9R engine jointly developed with Nissan (Renault own 40 odd percent of Nissan)

The gearbox thing is mainly a van issue.

Worth considering if you want a cheap large car.

Obviously buy on condition and not necessarily on mileage.

It really isn’t. Trust me on this.

It’s the PK6 gearbox and it’s very well documented.

because big coupes like that aren’t popular in this country?

With that 4 wheel steer malarky, a Renault Sport version could’ve been interesting…
