    Heading up that way tomorrow for new year and fancied calling in to laggan on way to aviemore.

    If anyone has been today could you let me know if its icy/ snowy please??

    It will have been very snowy yesterday, it’s thawing today and no snow around Inverness now but higher up will still be. You should be able to call it as you drive up the a9 by how much snow is at Road level before you turn off. It was very windy so would have been some deep drifts

    It’s now around 5C and there’s a lovely mix of slush and ice.

    I’d expect Laggan to be similar.

    Cheers guys. I’ll call it on the way. Just cant decide whether to get us all in bike gear or not before we leave !! Looks like it’ll be a fun week regardless.
