    I’ve just been asked this and the answer is “not at all, have you looked at a Camelbak Mule?”. A girl I know is after one for riding her bike around “That London” so shes after something trendy and Aldi just isn’t going to cut it.

    What should she look for?

    Not a DC bag. Had mine since september, got a 5 inch rip on each side and holes in the bottom. Not cool.

    A large Timbuk2 is a great commuter and/or weekend bag too… have a small too – £5 on flea bay
    TKMaxx have Crumplers at the mo’ for a fraction of usual price .. 😀

    I have a Timbuk2 that I purchased in New York over a decade ago. It’s been all over the world with me and still does daily duty on the commute. Occasionally I run it through the washing machine and it comes up like new.

    I’ve got a Crumpler. Well thought out and hard-wearing. Pretty too, with a lovely reflective stripe on so I don’t die.

    Again Bagaboo. Mine is sitting behind me and looking good despite being around four years old. The best thing is they do one-off custom designs. Nice.
