I recently built myself a 456 with 150mm Revelation forks up front. They developed a knocking on braking and I’m at a loss to know why. At first I wondered if it was the headset but that seems fine. I’ve done a bit of searching on’t net but come up with very little. Is it the bushings? Is it play in the legs?

It’s only been used a handful of times and they were bought new at the beginning of February. I haven’t been throwing my bike off anything daft either.

    any help is much appreciated

Are they u-turns? If yes, does it happen when they are wound down a bit?

no, not u-turns – motion control dual air.

TBH, I think it might actually be a simple headset adjustment thing.
