Dear Internet Medical Experts,
I have the following symptoms which began after interval training at running club three weeks ago:
– Stiffness in my knee which is worse after being sat with it bent.
– Difficult to fully straighten my leg (I can straighten it but it feels like there’s resistance).
– A tight sensation down the outside of my shin.
Then, after a 7 km run last night, the outside of my knee was tender so I applied an ice pack. This morning I awoke with a nice bruise there.
I don’t have any problems cycling or running. The symptoms appear at rest.
I will be heading to a Physio for a real diagnosis, but it’s fun to self-diagnose!
