  • Kinesis Crosslight 5T disc – any good?

Currently have a Genesis vapour (non disc) and really like it, but want to go to discs for better braking and mud clearance – and had it a while so time for a new toy. Like the look of the 5T and could get frameset, wheels, brakes and swap the rest of my parts over.

Also, anyone know what the rear dropout spacing on the 5T is?

Too early to comment on ride quality (just taken it out if the box) but seems decent enough.

Rear hub is 135mm I think, I’ve stuck Aksium Discs on it. So whatever they are.

Piemonster – have you ridden it yet? Be interested to see what you think.

Went to the London bike show today and pretty set on 5T or maybe Pro6. Prefer the look of the Pro6 & like in frame cable routing but 5T appears to have more tyre clearance and of course is cheaper.
