Guys, due to my blood test showing glandular fever yesterday and my mate damaging his wrist on LEJOG last week, we've decided to pull our room last minute at the grapes.

I'm pretty gutted on all accounts (did manage to finish last year) and this years weather looks great.

Can't speak highly enough of the Grapes at Newcastleton – we booked the room ages ago and because two of us are now in no shape to do it, we're all bailing.

So the room is now available it's a room of four on the top floor! Grapes are very biker friendly and it beats the hell out of camping! You are about 25 mins from Kielder Lake by car.

Mention my name (Tyrone) and speak to the chap in charge as I've just got off the phone with him.
