Moving the wee man up to a 16″ Islabike.
He had the 14″ and after a bad crash in France on a gravel trail on the standard tyres I bought some Decathlon knobblies and these seemed to do the trick.
The new bike will have the slick tyres on it so anyone any advice on 16″ knobblies?
Decathlon dont seem to have 16″
    Looking at these

Don’t know what they are like in 16′ but my lad had them on his 26′ Creig and they worked really well until we changed to tubeless – too many thorns on the tracks in my area. They seem to work well with small people as the knobles are quite spikey and dig in well, not a very technical reason but more an impression!

My lad has them on his Beinn 20 and they’re pretty good. Get some 🙂
