I have a friend who has to deal with English NHS mental health. Lets just say some of you have a very naive and rosy view of the world.

OP look for mental health support charities and obviously NHS help for her. The former can help with getting accommodation sorted as well as treatment guidance.

Unfortunately mental health issues can manifest as apparent apathy and “laziness”, it’s just one of those things so if she genuinely does have issues you are better getting her help than a house (that should hopefully come with the help).

I must say the attitudes displayed on this thread are pretty disappointing.
