Does anyone else think Kashima forks/shocks offer no improvement. Does anyone think this is just marketing hype? I have owned Fox kashima and non kashima forks and i must say i think its an expensive con.

Isn’t everything to do with MTBing an expensive con?

There’s a noticable difference in the shocks (I’ve had both, with otherwise identical spec) but it’s not massive. Not as big as the cost of the upgrade, anyway.

They did do the classic Fox “This new coating is more durable” and simultaniously half the service interval, that was good.

Think its all a complete con they sell substandard coatings for years and then ask extra for Kashima coating (Emperors new clothes anyone) 😆
Reminds me of Windows Vista that I live with on my laptop, windows had the cheek to allow me to upgrade (for a price) on the crap they sold me.
