Hey all, just repairing my Kashima forks after a small scratch. Anyone got a good recommendation on nail polish colour/brand for best match to the kashima colour?

I have tried a few and found that you do need to buy the “Tough” “Hard as Nails” version.
However prep, finest wet and dry, thin coats and leaving for a day to fully dry before buffing flat are more important. Good luck, done about 5 forks now, all ok.

Awesome tip on tougher coating. And the taking time. I’m desperate to ride but equally desperate not to trash the fork any more. Cheers

Worst you will do is damage the seal, which at this point you want to be replacing so just keep riding.
