A set of these could knock over a kilo off the bike over a set floaters. Not a bad upgrade at all.

Yep,^ that’s what I’m thinking.
I could build up a wheels set but just swapping to these will save 1lb per wheel.
Not bad for £160 ish quid ( plus a few quick back when I sell the current tires )

I was planning on building something similar but I’m still not 100% sure how much I’ll use it.
Having a cheap, light ish fatty will do for now, and these tires will go along way in helping.

Gee’s is damned impressive I must say! It feels a lot lighter than it is too, as you take one look and think ‘well that’ll weigh a ton…’

Chinese carbon fatty frames n forks don’t cost much now – 1300g frame and 600g fork for under £450.
Not seen any reviews but also not spent much time searching for them either 🙂

That you’ve yet to discover! I’d have no qualms getting a Chinese one, for something which is more about the novelty than anything!

Do it. Chinese carbon frame and 65mm rims with 1×10 wouldn’t be more than a couple of pounds more than mine.

I wouldn’t be buying a Chinese carbon fatty just yet, those tha have received them seem to be having problems !
