Well working for the doomed audit Commission I need to start looking for a new job. Any decent sites to register with? ive already done reed and hays, need some others + some procurement based sites. Any site recommendations appreciated.

you may find the odd few jobs but pretty much all jobsites are clogged with recruitment agencies trying to 'harvest' CVs.

IMO you're far better targeting specific organisations directly, even better if they are actively recruiting.

With your (assumed) auditing skills you'll soon uncover some of the shonky practices that are going on in the recruitment agency sector!
