great stove. very fast boiling times and neat, tidy package.
heavier than other simple stoves and expensive, but worth it 🙂

That pretty much sums up what I was thinking!
I also like the face it works well in windy conditions.

Awesome design, works really well. The fact that you can hold the side of the jug with the burner going full-billy on the bottom is testament to the efficiency of the system.

One word of warning – boiling water you can’t go wrong. If you have anything heavier than that in it (soup, porridge, stew etc) you can very easily put heat into it faster than can be moved away from the heat transfer surface on the bottom, irrespective of how frequently/religiously you stir it… I have a nice singed look to the base of mine now; still works fine though!

Great wee things – for boiling water. Rubbish if you want to cook at all. I would have one if I could, but keep my older gas stove and bigger pots/frying pan/wok for canoe trips 🙂

Thats ok then, only going to be for coffee of “just add water & stir” meals
