They are absolutely useless. I ordered a few things and 1 item didn't turn up even though they'd charged my card. They then ignored the emails I sent them for the next month until I sent an email copied from trading standards informing them of my intention to take legal action. Got a phone call the next day "sorry about that, we didn't get any of your previous emails...." yeah, right.

I have a simple rule with JEJAMES, irrespective of what the website says, as it is wrong most of the time. Go into the shop and if they have it at the right price, buy it. Otherwise go elsewhere. Easy.
If you are not in a hurry, or they don't have it, GO ELSEWHERE.
Whatever you do, don't get them to order something!!!! It'll be like waiting for IWH to pay up

hora:Thats what I don't 'get' about these places. Customer service is king. One comment or bad bit of service early on and your gone.
David Hinde/Winstanleys are still going tho.

have to say I've always been treated well by the workshop guys in Sheffield. little things (like starnut fitting) free of charge most times.

I love em, however I was prepared to wait 5 weeks for the delivery of some replacement spokes for my new Mavic SX's. But then i did get the spokes for £1.10 in the end which is about 1/3 of the list price.
But by and large if it aint on the shelf...

all the Sheff locals should go on a maintenance course then we'd not have to worry about how poor the shops are.

In my experience the Rotherham branch staff are terrible apart from one lad in the road section. Chesterfield and Sheffield are slightly better but not great. If I can avoid using them I do.

Just been in the Chesterfield branch and they were happy to spend half an hour sorting me out with replacements for all the bits ground away by the Crickhowell Merida on Sunday. Picked up an new XT cassette (8spd) for £12.
I guess it depends who you speak to and how busy they are.
