Sorry if this has been asked before (Im sure it has), but is there a simple way of putting songs downloaded of iTunes (so m4a format) onto a non-apple mp3 player?
Any decent convertors I can download?

    Ta, Duane 🙂

can convert m4a to mp3 with itunes, right click ‘convert selection to mp3’

It is also a good idea to change your import settings to MP3 that way you don’t have to convert them 🙂

Most products these days do AAC (better than MP3, sound-wise) and iTunes store is now all DRM-free so check the codecs of your player, it may play out of the box just by importing or drag & drop.

Don’t re-encode to MP3 if you don’t have to as it will strip more out of the music! If you must do this then re-encode as MP3.
