Frame bag and top tube protector were made by or for Cosmic who were big in the eighties for windsurfing accessories. Still got them somewhere in the garage.

It was roasting hot when we went – 55 degrees at Erg Chebbi…

Out of a feeling of complete inadequacy after seeing those amazing climbing pictures some of you have posted, I thought I would post another of me doing something that I assume only I can do (on this forum, at least!).

Alas, not vintage, but a good action shot nonetheless. And a damn fine save.

I’ve got some older ones, but this is from the summer, having another go at MX at 56.

One from my days fell running. 4am on the summit of Binnein Mor in the Mamores on a Ramsay Round supporting these two who had been going since midday the previous day – they both got round in under 24hrs.

No climbing ones as I’m terrified of heights.
