The woods are ringing out with the shriek of randy buzzards, I have been attacked by butterflies and my legs are polkadotted with mossie bites.

What are your signs of spring*?

The blummin’ grass needs blummin’ cutting every blummin’ week… blummin’ stuff! The person who invents grass that grows to about two inches then stops will be a very rich man.

The moulded boots are out for rugby and the flood lights aren’t on at training anymore
Wild garlic along the sides of all the roads (so much you can smell it in the car)
Gorse has come out and everywhere that isn’t covered in garlic seems to be covered in their yellow flowers

    It is indeed Spring.

CBEEBIES are playing the Springtime song…

Birds get busy, bees get buzzy.
Flowers in the hedgerow, start to get all fuzzy.
    etc
    etc.

    My boys love it.
