Applied for a job online yesterday afternoon, received a call from the agency within ten minutes asking if they could forward my CV to the employer (doh!).
Had a call today at 12:30 asking me to go for an interview at 14:30 - walked out of the place at 15:30 & within ten minutes took a call offering me the job.
Less than i was on before but told my pay will be bumped up in a month if i do well.
Time to crack open the Shiraz i think!

It's a job with a local engineering firm, less than i was on before redundancy but a good chance of moving up the pay scale pretty quickly.

As someone who left Joblesstrackworld as of this Monday just gone, I know how you feel there! I'm fooked after just one week of getting up at 6:30am, what am I going to be like from here on in?

They make plastic mouldings and non-ferrous toolings plus various sub-con 3D modelling stuff. Suppose i'll find out when i go in!
