and hope that it doesn’t turn out to be a bottle of water 😉

Seen a few feedback from some of the ebay ones where there are claims of fake or bottles no where near as full as the claimed quantity. I’m sure there are some decent ones though, just caution as always with ebay.

That said Isopropyl may be the actual content as it’s often used to stick in fake booze, so guess it’s very cheap to obtain 😉

My current litre bottle has ‘Biostain’ on the label. Was from ebay.

Last lot I bought was from eBay. To be honest I don’t find it that good at doing most things that I think it should be good at.

I get the Lucemill stuff off EBay. Seller in Kirkintilloch takes product and delivery seriously, it’s properly labelled/packaged and no reason to suspect it isn’t the stated grade.

Isopropyl doesn’t really have a functional replacement if a completely, surgically degreased surface is the aim- even ‘surgical spirit’ will not achieve such a clean surface, but for general degreasing it’s overkill and a cheap citric based product would be better value.

I use turps/ white spirit type stuff for degreasing. Or thinners if I have some knocking about.

Not that Eco stuff though. Crap that is, but presumably better for the environment.

Lucemill Plastic Bottles, they have their own site which is slightly cheaper than their stock on ebay.

EDIT – Maybe no longer selling IPA or Acetone.

Carb Cleaner is good too. With the added bonus that you can spray it into hard to reach places and blast out the crud.

Yeah doesn’t last long at all if you use it like that though!

    IPA is £15/litre at Maplin.
