Mercenary was a far better “open world” game. Anyone complete that? I got 2 of the 5 solutions.

Sod of a game. I couldn’t tell you how far I got but I certainly never completed it.

it was a hard game, don’t think I even got halfway through!

another classic was ‘north and south’.

I have a hard disk now, but I don’t think there’s any way to install it to hd.

Installing both Timeworks and Lattice C 5 to HD transformed the experience.

Actually, on reflection the two games which have given me the real sense that they were a massive step forward were GTA 3 and Morrowind so I’d add them to my list.

GTA3 was a huge eye opener.

i gave modern warfare etc a crack and its all the bl**dy same after a while.

have to say COD zombies was a bit different until they c*cked it up with tranzit, all went downhill after ascension in my eyes to be honest.

Lots of world class games suggested but nothing’s ever pulled me in like Championship/Football Manager. The only game I had to deliberately go cold turkey on. Oh my poor Rushden and Diamonds. We just couldn’t quite reach the very top.
