Like it says really, ideally without dismantling the fork!

Just got some second hand forks and they’re great and appear well maintained but dunno what the bushes are like. If I ride for a couple of months before getting them fully serviced and the bushes are knackered will/could I damage the fork? They’re fox F100s and I’m slightly weary given the amount of chat on here regarding the ease of damaging fox stanchions….

    TIA

Might be a good chance to learn how to service forks, I reckon.

I’ve done the same thing, bought some revelations second hand, they seem to be working fine, i’ll wait a few months before redoing the internals.

if they’re really worn you’ll feel them knocking a bit like a loose headset. Worth opening them up to check/refresh the oil anyway though
