When I bought a little bottle of Shimano mineral oil it came with a handy length of hose for attaching a syringe to the bleed nipple. It’s got rather oily and grubby so I need something else.

Is bog standard aquarium hose good enough or is there anything better? I’m using mineral oil if that makes a difference.

Gut traction is, yes, should be fine especially with mineral oil.

I use a length of aquarium airline hose to bleed car/motorbike/mtb brakes, nice and supple in use and costs 30p per meter length.
