The top/sleep button on my phone has goten to a point where I have to put loads of force onto it to get it in sleep mode. (Que the Android crowds cackles and giggles)
Has anybody else experienced this? And if so, did an Apple store replace or fix? And how long did it take?
Sad I know but faced with the prospect of being phoneless for a week or fortnight sucks!
    Cheers

Nope. What you been doing to it?? Badly fitting case? Water/sweat/Fanta ingress?

If you are still in warranty then the Apple store may well just replace it on the spot.

how old is it? Under a year and apple will probably just do a FOC swap.

over a year and I think its £119.

Done absolutley nothing out of the ordinary. Although a quick google suggests it’s a bit of a regular problem.

Brilliant! Seems it’s around 14months old. Cha ching for Apple, again.

My experience too, book it into your local Apple agent for a repair & chances are they will swap it.

Had two Apple products that have just been out of warranty & both were replaced on the spot for nothing.
