Are there any issues with bikes on the top / rear of the vehicle on the tunnel? After having a quick look, I can't see any tick boxes or options to record them on the eurotunnel site.
Anyone with any experience of doing it?
Ta

as long as you include them in the vehicle dimensions when booking you'll be booked into an appropriate height carriage. Do check for max vehicle height if you have a 4x4 and roof mounted bikes, though (although the freight wagons do cater for tall vehicles they're open sided).

Been through a few times, no bother at all, though we did go onto the "low vehicle" portion and the bike saddles were mm's from the roof on the train.

I have used a tow bar carrier for years and never included it in the dimensions of the car. No one has ever made an issue of it. Including it when booking is just wasting money really.

I would deffo go tow bar over the roof carrier on the shuttle. Will be cheaper in fuel consumption as well.

What is it then?

They don't care as long as they know whether to put you in the double deck coach or not.

Just put van then, and it'll be fine.
