Off this weekend for a wet passporte. Does anyone know what happens with using strava in relation to data use? I assume the record element is fine but when you save the ride at the end that’s when data useage comes into play. Wouldn’t mine having it on but not if its going to cost me a silly amount to record the ride.

Just turn data roaming off and upload via wifi? Would imagine the files are pretty tiny tbh

Just turn off data roaming then find somewhere with free Wi-Fi at the end of the day.

Ok, great, think I know a bar in town. I guess I was more worried that the actual recording element would use data. Only have a vague idea of how these things work.

It tracks with gps, not data.
