Switching to XT brakes on my whyte G150 but frame has internally routed brake hoses.
How difficult a job is it to route the new ones through?

Tape the new ones to the end of the old and pull through?
Can you leave them and just attach the new brakes at either end?

Better plan is to get a tandem gear cable because tape increase the diameter and can come apart.

Chop the ends off the old hose, feed the cable through from the front to back and pull through all the spare. Feed the excess cable carefully through the the new hose and out of the banjo. Now just do a pushmepullyou to draw out the old hose and bring the new one through with it.

    Good luck!
