Can forks described as integrated 1 1/8 be used with a standard headset?

    Cheers

possibly although if they're anything like road bike ones they'll have a very wide crown and will look a bit odd. you'd need to make sure that the crown wouldn't touch the downtube on the frame as it'll stick out a bit.

I guess we are talking road, as I've never seen MTB ones like that.

It should clear the downtube, but will likely look a bit odd. I wouldn't rush to do it.

Cheers it was for my CX bike.

So when are integrated headsets going to become more of a standard feature on MTB? I've got one on my bmx and love it. No more cups to worry about and it looks much cleaner.

I have done this on my Salsa Casserol – looks fine (Kinesis DC19s).
