Skyscrapercity.com is pretty good. It's a big site that is ostensibly about skyscrapers – doesn't sound that interesting, but really it's about urbanism in general – if you live in a major UK city there will be a sub forum for it that will discuss architecture, transport, local culture and heritage, planning etc. Great site if you're a city-dweller and interested in what's going on to shape your home turf.
