The rear end of my Intense 5.5 has developed a hairline crack. I need to get this fixed but have been quoted £500 for a new rear end which does not seem cost effective to cough up when a new frame of £1600 (or maybe more now)…. My options are:
1) Pay the money
2) Get hold of a second hand rear end – if this is feasible.
3) Get it welded

Any other thoughts/ideas??
