    Over Holmfirth at about 14:20 heading South South West. All ten in two V’s.

    Tis nice. my desk used to have a window looking up to Lincoln cathedral, and when the red arrows were out training they would often fly up from behind there.

    yeah. One of the red arrows landed in the roof of a house in my village apparently. (many years ago)

    They were certainly still impressive at Silverstone a couple of weeks ago.

    Little aerodrome by where I work, there’s been a P51 doing practice aeros all morning, got the gun covers off as well, so every time he goes into a dive, there’s this high pitched shrieking as well as the mechanical clatter/roar that the Packard Merlins make. I’ve been a little distracted…

    I’m in Tain just now and at 6:15 we had a full display from them which was fantastic – smoke and everything !
