    just got some road tyres for my CX bike, but as they're 23mm not 34mm I'd better get some new tubes (as they're 1 1/8) – which & where from?

    decathlon ones are cheap and do the job fine….

    Local Bike Shop? Any decent one will do 700×18-23, 28-32, 35-44ish.
