Any recommendations for in-ear headphones that actually fit in the ear? I wear mine in bed and would like ones that don’t get pressed into my ear when it’s resting on a pillow.

hmm – *must* they have a microphone?

I use a set of Ultimateear headphones on the motorbike but I have worn them on more than one occasion when sleeping in noisy environments (Ferries, mountain huts with snoring climbers etc). They’re really comfortable and don’t protrude at all so you can happily sleep on your side.

My Bose QC20’s are the most comfortable I’ve ever used, but a bit spendy at £200. Noice cancelling is very, very good though

I’ll try my new Rock Zircon’s later

Have you tried the Sennheiser CX 300 Creative EP-630 size. I could lie on my side. I knew I had earphones in. But I could do it

I have a set as you describe by RHA – they are 750i or something… lovely.

£180, custom fitted to YOUR ears so they fit, don’t fall out, block noise, protect your hearing, etc, etc, etc…

Doesn’t seem so expensive now does it.

It does when I’m trying to stretch my shoes to Christmas although there’s a hole in the sole.

The Rock Zircons are way more comfy to lie down in than I imagined. The pointy bit is sort of swept back

They have a microphone (that I have never used). Sound sand general feel is way above the £20 price point

If you want canalphones which fit into the ear snugly, and don’t cost an arm and a leg, Mee M6 Pro are about the best you’ll find:
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/MEE-audio-Universal-Fit-Noise-Isolating-Detachable-Clear/dp/B00SLVB71Q
Very similar to the Shure SE215’s, but half the price, and the replaceable cables don’t fall apart like the Shure remote mic ones do. My 215’s have developed an intermittent fault in one earpiece, and replacing the cable, which had already been replaced because the plastic covering split everywhere, hasn’t made any difference.
They’ve proved to be a bit pricey, cost me $149 originally including the optional remote cable, which split after a year, replaced it with an Ultimate Ears UE900 cable, at £38, then a second one when I started getting intermittent faults which the new cable didn’t cure!
Mee also do the M6 Sports: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0038W0K2K/ref=twister_B00LJ4J412?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
At £16, they’re excellent value, for such a flat ‘phone, they produce an amazing amount of bass, and fit right into the outer ear, perfect for lying on without discomfort.
I’ve got a couple of pairs with mic/remote I bought on a 2-4-1, half-price deal from Mee, and they’ve been very robust over the last four or five years.
I’ve just got a new pair of Mee Pinnacle P1 ‘phones, cost £172, but considering the total cost of the ‘cheap’ Shures, and the fact that the P1’s are made from cast zinc with cables built like the UE900 ones are, I think they’ll prove to be a far better bet for longevity.
