Up early, torrential rain, cancel riding plans, bike stays in …

Bit later, sun out, sun stays out, call riding buddy, bike out 🙂

Sun in, heavens open, downpour of biblical proportions, bike back in 🙁

Giving up and going shopping for iceace and crampons …

Doncha just love ‘changeable’ weather! (and yes I know I should just WTFU and ride 😳 )

Err, no. give me constant sunshine from April to November and a pretty steady 30ºC+ on a daily basis any day.

Don Simon – are you in North Wales? Got no chance of continuous sunshine here!

    Emsz – good idea!

Glorious sunshine this morning, in the flatlands, on my run at 7am. It’s now raining, but all I have to do is go out and drink and watch football, so I am fine with that.

You fannies want to be getting up earlier 😉

I am, and beautiful as it is I can think of somewhere I’d rather be.

Long ride out this morning in what can only be described as ‘ british’ weather. Now sofa surfing with some tunes and camenbert, french bread, stewed beetroot, red onion pickle, coffee and MrsBouy.

So you shop for iceaxe and crampons but won’t ride your bike in the rain??

Quick couple of hours this morning. Got very wet. Seems my waterproof needs re-proofing.

As for sofa surfing i’d love to but it’s covered in inlaws.

I once visited a ‘club’ in ……..???? and I can confirm that [with what must have been a lot of practice] yo-yos can indeed go in and out and do all sort of other things too
It was quite a show 😀

Yey, managed mountaineering kit shopping and a DRY ride afterwards!

But no knickers, nightie’s, fiddlers, or yo-yo’s in dubious activities were involved 🙂

Weather’s looking ‘variable’ again tomorrow, but I’m heading for a day in the mountains so it’ll be more out than in …

My “learn to Ride” afternoon session became a “learn how to remove an inner tube” session – in the dry.
