http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1571547/

Iv ask for some seller history elsewhere, he has nothing.
But he is willing to do PayPal normal NON GIFT.

Should I go for it!

Any one live in Bridgewater? Can collect?

This is the conversation

Hi
Are your brakes ispec A or B?
The code on the lever will tell you. If it ends with a B it's funny enough ispec b.
Thanks Stoddy

Did not ask for a fish picture, but asked for a selfie with the brakes.

Let's see

So, you don't trust the seller but are happy to trust someone else on the Forum that you've not met but happens to live in/near Bridgewater? 🙄

Some people take this internet buying too far, very small amount of scammers out there really, I concur with bradleys comment to be perfectly honest, if you can't take a risk for half the price buy elsewhere

I'd trust someone who has history of posting not someone who has joined one week before.

You all know it's best to do homework first, if I did not I would leave too much chance for everyone to take the pee

Hay stu. Did you not see my reply to bradly? I would have got them from ribble if they posted to Cyprus!

He's got a point though - unless you're dumb enough to pay PP gift, you'll get reimbursed if your brakes don't show up.

Doesn't strike me as classic scam really - he's not asking for gift or western union or somesuch. Even though he can't spell the name of the town where he lives. I suppose that's pretty standard for Somerset. 🙂

Well blow medown, turns out I'm too trusting, and to the op, not just Ribble sell them, I mean any other place, you could buy from, you're always taking a risk when buying second hand

Sad fact is we all need to be careful.
I don't mind buying 2nd had, I've brought loads of stuff, and the brakes were priced right but it's best to always look for history.
You generally able to get a gut feeling, I just wanted to see what you guys thought.

I would buy new if I could get ispec A m785's

When I last there, yes.

It's a cellophane factory to blame, don't ya know.

if it was in the last ten years then it was nothing to do with cellophane factory. it closed sometime ago...
