Stephen who?

He's a bottler. He should've said that it was his bonus and he was taking it no matter what.

He'll have got something in return

Sir Stephen.....

So he does a deal to do a job and get performance related pay. Then when he's done that as promised, his employer (us - the public that own 80% of RBS) dont want to pay up - even in shares in a wothless piece of tat.
Bust a deal, face the wheel.

I didn't agree to that deal, was it you?

(beaten to it)

His eyes are focused on the bigger prize which is his long-term incentive plan with a much larger payout!

Some performance deal that pays out to the CEO when the shares lose about half their value in the last 12 months
God know what he would have got if they'd gone up

Could it be that the performance measure aren't just on share price?

I think - as others have said - I don't recall reviewing it
So the only measure I have, is my falling investment valuePosted 3 months ago # -
It's in the thread all about his bonus that's been running a few days now.

Sorry, we have profits too
Group operating profits - which includes non-core operations - fell 63pc to £267m.
stunning ...........

Answering his phone within 3 rings?
Keeping sick leave to below 5 days in a 12 month period?
>90% punctuality? There's a whole world of things that he couldbe measured on.

Didn't you get the memo?

Out of interest, what was his deal?
Or are we meant to trust that RBS won't do anything against the public interest? and we needn't trouble ourselves with the detail
