  • Ilkley routes – can anyone help?

    I’m looking to extend one of my local loops from Skipton which normally only goes as far as Addingham.

    Can any locals give me an idea of the best way to:

    a) Head down into Ilkley from the road which runs under Beacon Hill? There seem to be a few options.
    b) Traverse the moor east to west towards Cringles from Ilkley itself? I’m looking to end up heading down Lippersley Lane or similar to eventually pick up the Roman Road towards Skipton.
