    You might want to check your phone bill. I have just discovered that every night at 11:30 my alarm system auto tests itself by phoning a premium rate number. This costs me 25p a go every day. It doesn’t sound much but it adds up to over £600 in the time I have had the alarm.
    ADT try to argue buried in their terms and conditions it says they ‘reserve the right’ to use a premium rate number for this. However it certainly wasn’t made clear at the time I had the alarm fitted that this was going to be the case. Of course because the calls are below 50p it doesn’t show up on my itemized bill. So pretty sneaky on their part I reckon. Well worth checking to see if you have been duped in the same way
    Caveat Emptor I suppose, especially with firms like this.
