  • If they say "lifts close 29th" – means closed from the 29th, or from 30th?

Resort site say "season runs from 1st – 29th – does that normally mean they close on the evening of the 28th, or at the close of business on the 29th…e.g. does it mean "up to and including the 29th", or "they close on the evening of the 28th". Difficult to communicate this in French to the nice Tourist Office lady!

Also are there other niggly things to think about, like – is it likely that if you're riding on the very last day the lifts are open, they'll close a few hours early?

It's so annoying that they don't time the lift opening in the Portes du Soleil in sync with the British August Bank Holiday – it is Morzine after all…

They'll be open all day Sunday (29th), there will be some lifts open the following week. I doubt they'll close hours early. Some close right on time, other a bit later.
