I am starting being fitterer today, after finishing off all the Xmas food and drink left in the house last night.
I was leathered and never want to see another Stollen again.
Can't exercise yet as still shifting a chest infection though....7 days with no exercise. That is the longest since June last year....bah.
Maybe I am an ideal candidate, apart from the porridge this morning, for iDieting.

I did it for a short while, then stopped as I couldn't do breakfasts. But since discovering that 6 eggs scrambled with only 2 yolks is pretty tasty and not as heavy I might go back and try again.
Lunch was a PITA as I could never find anything I liked with enough calories appart from re-heated leftovers.

As a vego I don't subscribe to the idea that eating meat is the only way to approach this. Interestingly enough, the article does also mention that vegetarians are healthier.

Serious question.
Is there really enough sugar in fruit for it to have a negative effect on the iDiet? Or put another way a significant enough effect on the iDiet for it to be rejected from the diet?Posted 4 months ago # -

I tried the egg white thing without so many yolks, but it seemed to give me problems with constipation so I am back on the whole eggs which work fine.

To the OP: It's not that similar though, is it? I think Taubes goes too far with his carbs make you fat hypothesis, but one of my main criticisms of iDave's diet has always been the overemphasis on lean meat.

I just bought the "Four Hour Body - Timothy Ferriss" book, made a lot more sense of the "idave" then.
I couldnt get enough info around idave to join the dots so to speak, but reading 4HB, means idave now makes a lot more sense and is easier to follow.
I`m down 4.75 lbs in the first 7 days with basically no exercise but the weight loss is only part of the story, belly and moobs are half the size in a week

As above, it's because it's fructose.
I have no issues with eggs and bacon/sausage for breakfast. Once you get used to whipping it up quickly it's no bother at all.
Oh, I am including small amounts of cheese in my diet, I think it's ok.

I've gone crazy with cheese... Actually i'm not even on the diet anymore but I have taken a lot of the principles from it (mainly breakfast)
My weight has stayed the same for months now and bodyfat looks okay.

Fruit today isn't as it once was.
Its been enhanced by man/farmers to be sweeter than it was historically.So, with the increased sugar content, the greater insulin response today's fruit will elicit.
