I fancy having a go at racing, not because i think i’ll be any good but i reckon it’ll be a laugh if nothing else.

I’m based in Scunthorpe, so something in the North would be preferred. Anything coming up (in March/April time) that i should look in to?

Well… no you won’t but that’s what i’m supposed to say to be polite isn’t it ?

I should probably mention that i’m talking about xc races, i dont think my 100mm hardtail will clock a decent speed down Fort William.

So was i mate.. so was i… LOL

First one i did was a 3 lapper, ‘sports male’…. i thought i was going to die at the end of the 2nd lap…. just as the leader overtook me and ‘won’ before i’d completed lap 2.

I was all ‘billy big balls’ before the event as i’d trained lots, was flying on local trails…

Completing lap 3 and finishing 3rd last… put me firmly in my place 🙂

I’ve been back and done more… but am currently waiting for nicer weather lol
