Advertising on US local networks is dirt cheap so relatively small local firms can afford TV commercials, if not high class productions. As a result you get stuff like this.

Loved it! took me back to the days when I used to own a furniture retail in Oz.

We used to do “creative” ads like that 🙂 Absolute crap, but they sold furniture – the locals would forgive us anything if we made them smile.

Our speciality was getting the store manager dressed up in a gorilla suit and jumping all over the furniture.

in australia there are plenty of crappy adverts done in a similar vein.
