    …yesterday in the beer garden of the Plume in Princetown.

    it was the size of a jellybaby, and had this amazing curly tongue thing (i have learnt a new word too -proboscis) that was even longer than its body and went right into the middle of the flowers.

    a truly bonkers creature and amazing that it can just hover there.

    that is all.

    yikes, top moth-spotting folks^^. Apparently they are quite common some summers. I am pretty sure I would have memories of backing away very nervously as a scared eight-year-old if I had seen one before.

    We had a Garden Tiger moth flitting around the pond earlier. It wasn't that an impressive size; but rather colourful.
