My new best friend gave me a go on his Fisher Superfly. I've been super sceptical about big wheels, I didnt actually know it was a 29er until I'd ridden it for a bit.

he was working with Trek in the US on a project……got it at cost. I rode it in some pretty twisty singletrack with some sharp down/ups. Rode them on my 26" Ti hardtail, did the usual roll down, kick up into the climb. Then had a go on the Fisher, the big wheel just rolled through.

I reckon you could ride a long way very fast on that thing.

STW forum member in trying a 29er and finding out that a lot of the negative crap spouted on here about them isn't true shocker. 😉
