I took the hard tail out over christmas and the lever under the seat wasn’t there like the other bike, very confused…

Have a full sus with 31.6 post, getting hardtail with 27.2 post.
Want a reverb for the full suss but should i even consider getting a narrower post so that I can use it on both bikes?
